Black as Hail Shop
Our Story
My eldest uncle grew up in Crawford, MS, which is only 26 miles from Mississippi State’s campus. When it was time for him to go to college in the early 1960s, he wasn’t allowed on campus due to segregation. Fast forward to 2014, I was able to graduate from Mississippi State. There were many black students who paved the path for me, starting with Richard Holmes in 1965, and I’m proud to be apart of that legacy. I love my alma mater and that I get to share it with the Black as Hail brand. - Justin Matthews '14
